Adult Classes

Pairs and Spares - Welcoming adults of all ages, the Pairs and Spares class is committed to praying for each other, and learning how we can apply the teachings of the Bible to our daily lives. This class meets in room 103 and is taught by Larry Kersey.

Homemakers – The Homemakers are a group of senior adults who love to pray, study the Word of God, and build fellowship through various events and activities. Greg Keeton is the leader of this class.

Note: All of our adult classrooms are located in the lower level beneath the sanctuary.

Worship Service

At Ashland First Church of the Nazarene, our Sunday morning worship services are a vibrant and uplifting experience for the entire congregation. Starting at 10:45 am, we gather together to worship God, seek His presence, and grow closer to Him. Our services are filled with heartfelt prayers, inspiring worship music led by our talented worship team, and biblically-centered messages delivered by our dedicated pastor. Our desire is to create an atmosphere where individuals can encounter God, experience His love, and respond in heartfelt worship. We also provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, with age-appropriate Sunday School classes, allowing parents to fully engage in the service. Whether you are a longtime believer or new to faith, we invite you to join us on Sunday mornings as we come together as a community of believers to worship, learn, and grow in our journey of faith.

Ember Youth Group

Our Ember Youth Group, led by Meredith Sergent, is a thriving community where young people can grow in their faith and relationships with one another. Every week, our dedicated team of leaders creates a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for students in grades 6-12. Through a variety of activities, discussions, and Bible studies, Meredith and her team aim to empower young people to discover their true identity in Christ and live out their faith in their daily lives. From exciting games and events to meaningful worship and teaching, Ember Youth Group provides a safe space for teens to connect, be heard, and build lifelong friendships. Under the guidance of Meredith Sergent's leadership, our youth group embraces the values of inclusivity, acceptance, and genuine love for one another. Join us as we support and encourage the next generation to boldly live out their faith and impact their world for Christ.
